Gloria Ansell, with mixed heritage from Australia and Hong Kong, has an extensive musical background where she learned to play instruments such as guitar, piano and drums at a very early age. This paved the way for her future career in DJing, where mixing and performing came naturally to her.

Originally influenced by early electronic dance music, Gloria Ansell began mixing different genres together in her sets to create a stimulating and unique sound. She plays a wide range of music to suit any crowds’ tastes, spinning anything from EDM main room to deep to tech to progressive or funky. Quoted as being “not only a skilled DJ, but an enthralling performer”, as she is always being praised by party-goers who can’t help but experience her passion, devotion, and energy through all her sets. Gloria Ansell is a true powerhouse, with her flawless mixing & technical skills behind the decks, which most certainly set her aside from the rest.

These last few years have seen Gloria Ansell with DJ residencies at some of Southern China’s hottest clubs, from where she started at Evening Show in Shenzhen then to Club LAX, and now on to her present residency at Pepper Club and Club Viva Seaworld, of which businesses she is also a shareholder. Gloria Ansell along with Pepper Club have rapidly helped to shape the nightlife scene in Shenzhen and Pepper Club is beginning to make a name for itself around the world as one of Southern China’s leading nightclubs. Gloria Ansell has shared the DJ booth with world renowned artists such as David Tort, My Digital Enemy, James Zabiela, Federico Scavo, Boy George, Plastik Funk, Dirty Vegas, Dave Seaman, Alex Kenji, Tenishia, Stefan Dabruck, and Howie B.

In 2014 Gloria Ansell began to turn her attention to producing with her first release out on Beatport, a tech house collaboration with producer / DJ Nick Fay titled “Take That”. 2015 has seen Gloria Ansell take it to the next level and come into her own releasing even more material, this time with Miami & Ibiza based DJ/ Producer Alex Seda who she has collaborated with to release a remix for the Hoxton Whores and their chart topping track, “Stand Up Miami” which made it into the top 30 on Beatport, an original titled “All You’ve Given Me” on Housesession Records along with some of her own edits and mashups. All these productions from Gloria Ansell has brought support from the world’s leading DJ’s such as Nervo, Axwell, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Erick Morillo, Bob Sinclar, Sander Van Doorn, EDX, and Thomas Gold just to name a few.

Gloria Ansell's international career has taken her from one end of the planet to the other and everywhere in between such as Ibiza’s Bora Bora to Miami’s Nikki Beach, Clevelander and Shots, to other clubs she’s performed at in Russia, Macau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Vietnam, and Malaysia. With all her latest efforts, Gloria Ansell has made it into the TOP100 DJane Mag list. And as this summer kicks off, she will be seen touring around Asia and USA to promote her upcoming original releases, so stay tuned!
